Troon - Team Troon On Tour

PGA TOUR – Mexico Open

The Mexico Open concluded yesterday in Vidanta Vallara where Team Troon member Erik van Rooyen was in the field. Erik played well all week to earn top 10 but it was his first round that was a great showing of his skills and the good golf he has to play in the future. During first round he carded a -6, 29 on his front nine, finishing round with a great -10, 63 in sole lead of the event. He went on to play solid the rest of the week and finish within the Top 10. We are so excited to have Erik joining the team and congratulate him on a great week!

The Cognizant Classic is bringing a lot of excitement into the Tour schedule as well as in the Troon world. Capital One’s “The Match” takes place tonight as Max Homa, Lexi Thompson, Rose Zhang and Troon Investor/Supporter Rory McIlroy will be competing against each other in a skins game style play and these ‘skins’ will be dollar amount to donated to charity. The player with the most ‘skins’ (during the 12 hole match) will be crowned champion. That Match has raised $38 million for charitable causes across its previous eight iterations.
