GOLFERS, MEMBERS AND TROON ASSOCIATES DONATE MORE THAN $78,000 TO PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Scottsdale, Ariz. (December 7, 2017) – Golfers, members and associates at 16 Arizona Troon® golf facilities recently donated more than $78,000 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital as part of Troon’s “Drive For PCH” promotion. The “Drive for PCH” promotion is in its seventh year and has raised more than $446,000 for Arizona’s largest children’s hospital.

The “Drive for PCH” promotion generated donations from golfers, members and associates through several on-course programs beginning in August and lasting through November at 16 Arizona Troon golf facilities. Programs included a “hit the green” par 3 contest that rewarded participants with golf shop discounts and Troon Cards, raffles, TroonFIT Fun Runs, a Troon helicopter golf ball drop and a PCH golf tournament held at Troon North Golf Club on Friday, November 17th.

“We are thankful to the hundreds of golfers who participated in our ‘Drive For PCH’ promotion for their generosity and support,” said Mike Ryan, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Troon. “We are also very proud of our Troon associates for their tireless fundraising efforts and for making this promotion an incredible success.”

Golfers playing Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale from August to November raised the most of any Troon-affiliated club with $22,554. In addition, Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler golfers raised $15,525 and Pinetop Country Club in Pinetop, Ariz. hosted a tournament raising $6,020. What’s more, Troon corporate associates in the company’s Scottsdale headquarters helped raise $5,151 for the “Drive for PCH” promotion.
