MICHELLE DOUGHERTY NAMED NEW GENERAL MANAGER AT BROOKSTONE EVENTS & GOLF

Derry, NH (October 16, 2019) – Brookstone Events & Golf recently welcomed Michelle Dougherty, CCM as the facility’s new general manager. Located just 40 minutes from Boston in Derry, New Hampshire, Brookstone includes a beautiful wedding and events center; a 9-hole, par-3 daily-fee golf course; a fully-lit golf range and an 18-hole miniature golf course.

Dougherty has more than 17 years of managerial experience in the private club industry. Most recently, Dougherty served as the assistant general manager for The Quechee Club in Vermont where she was charged with hiring, training, budgeting and executing the club’s vision. Prior to The Quechee Club, Dougherty spent 10 years at Nashua Country Club as the clubhouse manager. In this position, she was responsible for sales, planning, distribution and execution of all member and non-member events, golf tournaments, bonspiels, conferences and auctions, as well as developing, managing and maintaining all departmental operating and capital budgets.

Brookstone’s 14,000 square-foot event center is one of Southern New Hampshire’s most popular wedding sites and private event facilities. Set against the backdrop of the Brookstone golf course, the event center features both indoor and outdoor event venues. Brookstone offers a beautiful 9-hole, par-3 golf course that meanders along the banks of Big Island Pond. In addition to the golf course, the property also includes a fully-lit, 10-bay practice range, a chipping and pitching practice area, and an 18-hole miniature golf course. Memberships and lessons are available, with golf clinics and events held throughout the season.

In July 2019, Brooks Properties, owners of Brookstone Events & Golf, selected Troon to manage the facility.
