Course type: Daily fee/Resort
1300 Currie Pkwy, Midland, Michigan 48640Overview
Facility in the Great Lakes Bay Region, Currie Golf Courses provide Midland residents and visitors alike with two beautiful courses that subtly blend with their natural surroundings.
Currie West is the newest 18 hole layout at the Currie Municipal Golf Complex. It is a modern design that rivals many of Michigan’s top resort courses. It began as a 9 hole layout that was expanded to 18 holes in 2002. Designed by Michigan golf course architect, Jerry Mathews of Natural Golf Design, the course features a complete redesign of the original 9-hole layout and a new front nine carved out of the naturally wooded landscape between M-20 and the Tittabawassee River in the city of Midland.
Currie East is the original 18-hole layout designed and constructed by Mr. Gilbert Currie, the man for whom Currie Municipal Golf Course is named. Mr. Currie’s vision was to provide a reasonably priced, beautifully designed course for all citizens to enjoy.
Currie Par 3 is a unique facility that provides a great experience for young and old alike who are taking up the game of golf for the first time, or an opportunity to improve the short game for the experienced golfer. With its convenient location, the Currie Par 3 Course – combined with the driving range, practice bunker, and practice putting green – offers the golfer a true complete practice facility as well as a great opportunity for family fun.
