Q. How long have you worked in the industry and what brought you to work at Troon?

A. We have been deeply involved in the padel industry for over a decade, honing our skills and growing with the sport’s popularity in Argentina. As of June 2023, Troon took over the management of Padel Beach at Al Hamra Golf Club (UAE) and we are very excited to be a part of it and a part of the Troon family.

Q. What do you love most about your job?

A. The most incredible aspect of our job is the privilege of promoting and developing padel, not only within Argentina but also internationally. We take immense pride in showcasing the dynamism and strategic depth of padel, introducing enthusiasts to the unique blend of athleticism and camaraderie the sport offers.

A. What do you do to help share the job opportunities we have at Troon and within the hospitality industry?

A. To spread the word about the career opportunities at our facilities, we adopt a multi-faceted approach. We actively mentor young and aspiring padel players, helping them navigate the competitive landscape while also encouraging them to explore potential roles within the industry. Additionally, we engage in outreach activities, and collaborating with other professionals to highlight the diverse and fulfilling roles available.

Q. Who would be your ideal padel playing partners for a match?

A. As passionate padel players, our ideal padel partners would be the legendary soccer player Lionel Messi, the talented actress and fellow padel enthusiast Cecilia Roth, and the ingenious architect Cesar Pelli. This mix of athletic prowess, artistic flair, and architectural vision would make for an intriguing and enjoyable padel match.

Q. What are two things about your heritage or culture that you would like to share with us?

A. Two cultural aspects that encapsulate the essence of Argentina are Mate and Tango. Mate, a traditional herbal drink, symbolizes hospitality and friendship. Sharing Mate with others fosters a sense of community and connection. Tango, on the other hand, is the soulful and passionate dance that speaks to the heart of Argentina’s expressive spirit. Both Mate and Tango reveal the depth of our culture, emphasizing the importance of relationships and emotional expression.
