BRUCE GLASCO To OVERSEE TROON GOLF WEST COAST OPERATIONS

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Troon Golf, the world’s leading luxury golf management, marketing, and development brand, has appointed Bruce Glasco to Western Regional Assistant Vice President. This newly created position was designed specifically to oversee the day-to-day operations of Troon Golf facilities in the western United States. Glasco will also oversee the transition of all properties, as well as be responsible for recruiting Facility Managers for the rapidly growing company.

Glasco moves to Troon Golf after working nearly three years with Hines Development Company Inc. A former PGA golf professional, Glasco served as Assistant Project Manager at the River Valley Ranch development in Carbondale, Colorado. Prior to that, he was Director of Golf at Maroon Creek in Aspen, Colorado. His golf career has allowed him to work as an Assistant Professional at such notable golf clubs as Treetops, Gaylord, Michigan; Bay Hill Country Club, Orlando, Florida; and the #1 world-ranked Pine Valley Golf Club in Clementon, New Jersey. He attained his first Head Professional position at the Kapalua Plantation Course, Maui, Hawaii. Glasco earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Western Michigan University. He has also completed additional course work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.

“It’s great to be back in the management side of the golf business, especially with the recognized leader in luxury brand golf management,” says Glasco. “However, I am certain my experience in the development industry is going to prove extremely valuable in my new position with Troon Golf.”

In anticipation of future growth, Troon Golf made the decision to divide the company’s operational responsibilities into two regions: eastern and western. Glasco’s region encompasses 12 Troon Golf facilities located in Colorado, Arizona, and California.

“As Troon Golf moves steadily towards realizing its vision of global expansion, we believe we will be well served by having on our team an individual as dynamic as Bruce,” said Troon Golf Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dana Garmany. “His impressive background as a golf professional and development executive is certain to stimulate Troon Golf’s presence in the western United States and allow us to continue to operate at the high standards of excellence.”

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Troon Golf manages courses in 10 American states and four countries. Its list of prestigious properties includes Troon North Golf Club, Scottsdale, Arizona; Turnberry Hotel, Golf Courses and Spa, Ayrshire, Scotland; The Ridge Course at Castle Pines North, Castle Rock, Colorado; Eagle Ridge Inn & Resort, Galena, Illinois; and The Westin Innisbrook Resort, Tampa Bay, Florida.
