MOON VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB IS LATEST ADDITION TO THE TROON GOLF PORTFOLIO
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Celebrating a new era, the members of Moon Valley Country Club recently assumed ownership of the venerable north Phoenix facility, having successfully purchased the club from KMC Manufacturing (PING). In this exciting transition, the membership have appointed Troon Golf,® the world leader in luxury golf management, development, and marketing, to manage Moon Valley Country Club.
In its decision to sell Moon Valley, KMC Manufacturing retained Troon Golf to manage the club through the lengthy transition of finding a buyer and transferring ownership. In that time, as the Moon Valley Board and members assembled their bid and arranged financing, they enjoyed the opportunity to observe and experience Troon Golf in action on their own premises.
“This gave the Moon Valley members a tremendous advantage over other interested parties in understanding how their club should and could be properly managed. Established in 1959, Moon Valley Country Club features the newly renovated championship golf course, which for many years hosted the LPGA Tour, as well as the 18-hole Moon Walk short course. The 100,000 square-foot clubhouse and facilities include the restaurant and food & beverage services, multi-court tennis facility, swimming pool, and fitness center with full-court basketball. In addition to golf, Troon Golf management services encompass all club operations from administrative, human resources, and membership sales.
