PGA TOUR – Genesis Open

This past weekend the PGA TOUR competed at the prestigious Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. Renowned for its rich history and strong field of competitors, the event had great drama and excitement all week long. Four Team Troon members were in the field.  But ultimately low Team Troon member for the week would be Gary Woodland. His four round total of -1 would get him a T39 finish. Congrats Gary!

 PGA TOUR Champions – Chubb Classic

This past week, the PGA TOUR Champions was at the Troon-managed Tiburón Golf Club (Black Course) in Naples, Florida for the Chubb Championship. Despite players having their time be cut short because of Sunday weather, it was a great event that attracted solid crowds to see the champions play. Team Troon’s Colin Montgomerie was in the field and would finish T41 with a total of -1. Solid playing Colin.

Its awesome that Tiburón has been the host of this event since 2021 (and for a long time running host of other PGA/LPGA events). Congratulations to the team onsite for hosting yet another great tour event! We look forward to the many more to come in typical “Tiburon fashion”!

COMING UP

PGA TOUR-Mexico Open

The PGA TOUR is heading to Vidanta Vallarta for the Mexico Open. Newest Team Troon member Erik van Rooyen is in the field and poised to represent Team Troon well. He has a pretty good track record  in Mexico as his most recent win was at the 2023 World Wide Technologies Championship this past fall in Cabo. Go low this week Erik!
