Al Zorah Golf Club And The Oberoi Beach Resort Launch The Ultimate Luxury Winter Golf Break
Golf enthusiasts and luxury travellers can now take advantage of this attractive package at one of the UAE’s most spectacular destinations
Al Zorah Golf Club and The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah, are offering golfers the opportunity to experience the ultimate luxury getaway this winter after releasing an exclusive ‘Stay and Play’ package.
Guests can take advantage of world-class golf – and a stunning climate – with an array of five-star benefits over the coming months at one of the UAE’s most spectacular destinations, which is situated just 30 minutes from Dubai International Airport in the heart of Al Zorah City.
The Troon-managed Al Zorah Golf Club opened for play in 2015 and is already regarded as one of the best courses in the Middle East. Designed by the legendary 18-time Major champion, Jack Nicklaus, the course meanders around a natural mangrove landscape and two spectacular lakes. With a driving range and extensive practice facilities, it is the perfect venue for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the game.
Al Zorah Golf Club is consistently ranked in Golf Digest’s Top 10 courses in the Middle East and was shortlisted for ‘World’s Best Eco-Friendly Golf Facility’ at this year’s World Golf Awards. The venue is committed to maintaining and enhancing the rich biodiversity of its surroundings while providing an exceptional golfing experience.
Al Zorah City is also home to Ajman’s most exclusive hotel, The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah. The hotel was named as the Middle East’s ‘Leading Luxury Beach Resort’ at the World Travel Awards in 2022, and sitting adjacent to Al Zorah Golf Club, it provides everything the discerning golfer could want.
Available to book until March 31, 2024, the attractive ‘Stay and Play’ package features daily golf on Al Zorah Golf Club’s 18-hole championship course, full use of the practice facilities prior to play as well and a shared golf cart from the venue’s new fleet of Club Car Tempo buggies, complete with GPSI technology.
A set of Callaway rental clubs and golf course transfers are also included while, to further underline the venue’s commitment to sustainability, players have the opportunity to plant a mangrove and leave their own positive stamp on the resort.
Away from the fairways, guests can enjoy daily breakfast at the Vinesse restaurant in The Oberoi Beach Resort and savings of 15 per cent savings on food and beverage (excluding tobacco items). For non-golfers in the party, an alternative awaits in the form of luxurious spa treatments.
“Al Zorah City continues to grow and attract a range of different customers, including golfers, luxury travellers and corporate clients looking for retreat packages,” said Phil Henderson, Al Zorah’s Golf Club General Manager.
“We are regarded as one of the UAE’s up-and -coming golf venues and are excited to be able to share this wonderful destination with more and more people. This package is sure to appeal to golfers, but off course, and around Al Zorah City, there are many attractions and sites to enjoy here that we cannot wait for our guests to explore.”
Al Zorah City is a 5.4 million square metre development that lies on the shores of the Arabian Gulf and is one of the United Arab Emirates’ most exclusive and elaborate destinations. As well as boasting an extensive list of attractions, including a nature reserve, white sandy beaches, restaurants, a wellbeing resort and a world-class golf course, it also features the impressive Oberoi Beach Resort.
The hotel features a wide choice of modern and elegant rooms, suites and villas – all with a private terrace – while players can relax and unwind after golf by the hotel’s 85-metre pool, in The Oberoi Spa or at one of the many stylish bars and restaurants available.
In addition to golf, a number of activities are also available including falconry, which has been indigenous here with the Bedouin tribes of the UAE for 4,000 years, and kayaking in the mangroves, a unique ecosystem that is home to more than 65 species of birds.

About Al Zorah City
The Al Zorah area is considered one of the UAE’s most spectacular tourist destinations in the Emirate of Ajman. Major attractions in the area include luxury resorts on the seashore overlooking the Arabian Gulf and an 18-hole championship golf course. Walkways, jogging, and cycling trails, restaurants and cafes, a marina, beachfront villas and apartments on the banks of the creek, make it the perfect place to visit, live, and play for the whole family. In addition, the area includes the Al Zorah Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful natural features in the Emirate of Ajman. It is an ideal destination for lovers of ecological and natural tourism and mangroves, which provide a suitable environment for resident and migratory birds. The abundance of natural water allows for the various plants and tree species to thrive, as well as an abundant ecosystem of large groups of fish and magnificent coral reefs.
Al Zorah Golf Club
