Fairmont Grand Del Mar To Debut New Look For Members Clubhouse

San Diego, Calif. (April 4, 2024)Fairmont Grand Del Mar, an award-winning, luxury resort located in the coastal canyons of Rancho Peñasquitos Preserve, is thrilled to announce the renovation of the property’s exclusive golf clubhouse and member spaces. The resort is partnering with design firm Bishop Pass of Los Angeles to support with the bespoke design refresh, bringing in lighter and more modern touches, while still maintaining the opulence of the revered Fairmont Grand Del Mar. The transformation of the Clubhouse at Fairmont Grand Del Mar will be complete by June 30, 2024.

The Clubhouse refresh will include a variety of updates, from upholstered furniture in luxurious textures and warm colors, pendants and sconces with brass and Venetian glass, window and wall treatments with softer and lighter fabrics, and custom patterned carpeting. The Ladies Lounge renovation will include the addition of an indoor-outdoor bar, installation of a grand infrared sauna with illuminated himalayan salt wall in the ladies’ wet facilities, and the expansion of the Men’s Lounge with additional locker space. The Club’s reimagined outdoor space will feature more patio seating and umbrellas, offering a flexible, transitional space for dining and club events.
