Phoenix, Ariz. (July 21, 2022) – Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz. will host the Papago Music Festival on Saturday, October 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. The Festival will feature three tribute bands, including Tennessee Whiskey (Chris Stapleton), Candle in the Wind (Elton John) and One Of These Nights (The Eagles). Proceeds from the event will benefit the Arizona Alliance for Golf, a coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to the game of golf, the diverse industries it supports and the people who love and depend on it. Tickets start at $75 per person for general admission and are available through https://cof.page.link/CFEV.

Produced by T2 Presents and Phoenix Music Group, the Papago Music Festival will take place on the Papago Golf Club practice range, with the beautiful Papago Buttes as the backdrop. VIP tickets are between $125 to $200 per person and include VIP seating, two beverages and VIP restrooms. Advance purchase general admission tickets start at $75 per person, increasing to $80 per person on the day of the show.

“We’re excited to host the first-ever Papago Music Festival this October,” said Papago Golf Club General Manager Daryl Crawford. “The Festival is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together in support of the Arizona Alliance for Golf. Family and friends will enjoy a variety of musical artists in a beautiful setting while participating in the fundraising efforts.”

Named one of the “30 Best Municipal Golf Courses in America” by GOLF Magazine in 2021, Papago Golf Club is located in the heart of Papago Park, surrounded by native desert landscape, the picturesque Papago Buttes and conveniently located less than two miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Originally designed by William Francis (Billy) Bell in 1963, the challenging golf course has hosted numerous events including the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship, Phoenix Open qualifying and an LPGA tournament. Papago is now home to Arizona State University’s men’s and women’s golf teams, and the teams’ state-of-the-art, indoor/outdoor practice facility, the Thunderbirds Golf Complex. The 2018 additions of the mid-century modern inspired Lou Grubb Clubhouse (including neighborhood hot spot, Lou’s Bar & Grill) and Evie’s Pavilion for group events have further accentuated Papago’s revitalization.

Papago Golf Club is a Troon-managed facility and is owned by the City of Phoenix. For more information on Papago Golf Club, visit www.papagogolfclub.com or call 602-275-8428.
