Potomac Shores Golf Club Welcomes Jason Rose As General Manager

Dumfries, Va. (August 16, 2023) – Potomac Shores Golf Club in Dumfries, Va. recently welcomed Jason Rose as the club’s new general manager. Rose will direct all elements of the daily fee club’s operation, including golf, agronomy, food and beverage, and sales and marketing.

Rose has 11-plus years of golf and club industry experience, having most recently served as general manager and director of golf at nearby Montclair Country Club in Dumfries. He began his career in the golf industry working in agronomy and turf management at courses in Destin, Fla. From there, he returned to his home state of Ohio, where he became a golf professional, working at a course in the Cincinnati area. In 2015, Rose was named director of sales and marketing at Wetherington Golf & Country Club in Wetherington, Ohio, before being promoted to assistant general manager of the private club in 2019. Prior to getting into the golf industry, Rose worked for several professional sports franchises, including the Miami Marlins, Miami Heat and Detroit Red Wings as a ticket sales and service account executive.

Rose attended Ohio Northern University, where he studied sports management and played basketball for the Polar Bears. He holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Bowling Green State University. Together with wife Amanda, they have two children, three dogs, and enjoy attending sporting events and boating on Lake Anna.
