Richard Blais Signature Restaurant ‘Kestrel’ Debuting At Indian Wells Golf Resort

An award-winning author, restaurateur, and co-star of the hit FOX show “Next Level Chef,” Blais will bring his signature flavor and flair to the new-look gourmet eatery located on the top floor of the stunning clubhouse at Indian Wells Golf Resort.

Born from the creative mind of Blais following his decades of experience in many of the world’s finest culinary establishments, Kestrel will feature his individual take on Southern California cuisine featuring sustainably sourced seafood, dry-aged signature cuts, locally-grown produce and a delectable selection of craft cocktails showcasing local flavors of the region.

Ideal for a date night out or a pre- or post-golf hangout, patrons will enjoy the delicious offerings in a stunning dining lounge that seamlessly blends welcoming relaxation with extraordinary culinary refinement, all while invoking the unique sense of place and energy that embodies this beautiful and scenic region.

In addition to the upcoming culinary offerings, Indian Wells Golf Resort’s 36 holes of exceptional golf are widely known as two of the premier public layouts in both California and the U.S. The Celebrity Course, designed by architect Clive Clark and colloquially referred to as “Beauty,” features aesthetically pleasing water features, colorful wildflowers and narrow corridors placing an emphasis on shot making.

The John Fought-designed Players Course, or “The Beast” as it’s known, is a longer, more open layout with demanding bunkering and stunning vistas of the surrounding mountain ranges. Like The Celebrity, no roads or homes encroach the course, and each hole is designed to provide a feeling of privacy and escape in the heart of the scenic Coachella Valley.

Richard Blais is a successful chef, restaurateur, James Beard nominated cookbook author and television personality. Blais currently co-stars alongside Gordon Ramsay on FOX’s hit cooking competition, “Next Level Chef,” and is widely recognized as the first winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and trained at The French Laundry, Daniel, Chez Panisse, and el Bulli. Blais currently owns and operates Trail Blais, a forward-thinking culinary consulting company that has consulted on, designed, and operated popular eateries across the country. Trail Blais also advises national brands on menu creativity, ideation and employee training sessions.
